Geogenanthus

Family: Commelinaceae.

Geogenanthus undatus Mildbr. et Strauss (Dichorisandra undata C. Koch et Lind.).
Geogenanthus Genus of 4 species of evergreen perennials from tropical regions of South America. Geogenanthus is grown for its unusual foliage. Each leaf is striped from base to tip and the surface is puckered. Geogenanthus is not an easy to care for - it needs warmth and moist air.
Growing conditions Watering and misting Propagation
Average warmth in summer - minimum 60 F in winter. Brightly lit spot away from direct sunlight. Keep compost moist at all time. Reduce watering in winter. Misting is necessary. Take stem cuttings in spring or summer.
