Annonaceae

Family of trees and shrubs, mostly confined to the Old World tropics. Many species are edible, others contain aromatic oils. Fruits are berries or sometimes comprised of segmented, multiple small fruits (e.g. custard apple). Includes approximately 130 genera and 2300 species.
